Dog bodysuit / pet shirt e.g. after OP for Males – like a dog sweater / jacket / hoodie, only different – body design especially developed for the male dog
Maybe you know that too? Many dog owners hardly recognize their dog when they pick it up from the vet after an operation. The animal appears dazed, has an unsteady gait and as an “extra gift” gets a terribly annoying collar – as a leak protection for example – made of plastic, which takes away its sight.
The alternative with VetMedCare ® means to solve this unpleasant problem of your dog once and for all and to make the time of the post-operation more pleasant for it.
The VetMedCare ® bodysuit / pet shirt for male dogs is the professional alternative to an annoying neck brace. This full body bodycoat covers and protects the dog’s body and is a complete surface covering wound protection (leak protection). This helps your male dog to an even faster recovery.
The dog body coat for males is ergonomically designed to fit the male body shape, comfortably fitting and hygienic. The male dog bodysuits can be washed clean at 60° degrees.
Durable & Running Stitch Protection: The unique weaving process used in the production of the fabric does not allow running stitches (biting, scratching, etc).
Thus the bodysuit is durable and reusable. The VetMedCare ® fabric is made of 90% PA (polyester) / 10% EL (elastane). This makes the fabric light, dries very quickly (no hollow fibres) and is very breathable.
The stretch fabric ensures freedom of movement during all male dog activities.
Warmth is especially important after male dog operations – the quasi “dog clothing” also helps here
After a dog operation / surgery your male dog needs a warm, quiet and clean place at home – ideally in a dog bed. You should keep other animals away from him – they usually show no mercy for the fact that their “colleague” is ill and needs rest. They could also lick the surgical wound and possibly get infected.
Make sure you prepare the dog bed on the floor for your dog, because after the anaesthetic the dog may still move around a bit unsteadily and could fall off a dog bed on the sofa etc. and injure itself even more.
Versatile areas of application for the VetMedCare ® dog pet shirt

- Skin problems
such as : Minimizes the impact of itching, scratching and biting on the skin. Supports faster healing, as even medications stay on the skin longer.

Background information on our VetMedCare ® wound protection
With the VetMedCare ® brand, we develop special veterinary medical solutions that are mainly – but not only – used after operations. An important goal was to spare animals the annoying neck brace – and to guarantee safe wound protection for dogs. The different bodysuits, tubes and safety pants have sophisticated, field-tested cuts. In addition, the extremely stretchy fabric offers a particularly high level of wearing comfort.
The development and creation of the OP bodysuits were carried out in close cooperation with veterinarians up to the finished product. With these dog bodysuits an innovative protection and clothing series for dog animal needs was created.
